I want to apologise for the lack of updates around here. I will be trying to get a new layout up soon since the current one is messed up. I also am looking for some staff. The biggest reason behind the lack of updates will be stated below.

I am considering making this site a pap-free zone since 90% of liam updates are about his relationship and I really don’t feel comfortable sharing that. I want this to be about him and his career not prying into the personal life. Most of the news I’ve been getting lately is all about the relationship and what I find about his career I usually post. I will be catching this site back up. I had a hard drive crash and i’ve been working on getting all of the photos saved again. but i will be back with a new layout very soon as well as a pap-free zone.

“Love and Honor,” the movie starring Liam Hemsworth that’s set in Ann Arbor and was filmed in and around the campus town, is coming to DirecTV starting today.

The buzzworthy independent film will be available exclusively through DirecTV for two weeks. Then it goes wide on VOD starting Feb. 14 and debuts in theaters on March 22.

Multi-platform rollouts are becoming a popular strategy for indies, whether it’s the simultaneous VOD/theatrical release model taken by films like Richard Gere’s acclaimed“Arbritrage” or the VOD first/theaters next approach of movies like the Kirsten Dunst comedy “Bachelorette.”

“For films like ours, it’s fantastic. It just builds the exposure for us,” says “Love and Honor” executive producer Eddie Rubin, who’s based in metro Detroit.

“Love and Honor,” which was originally titled “AWOL,” stars Hemsworth of “The Hunger Games,” Austin Stowell, Teresa Palmer and Aimee Teegarden and also features former MSU basketball star Delvon Roe, whose character is a football player. The story, set in 1969 during the week of the moon landing, is about a soldier in Vietnam who goes AWOL with a buddy to win back his girlfriend, a quest that takes them to Ann Arbor.

University of Michigan professor Jim Burnstein co-wrote the script (and taught Rubin and “Love and Honor” director Danny Mooney in his screenwriting classes). Filming took place in 2011 in and around Ann Arbor, which doubled for its late-1960s self, complete with hippies and the anti-war protest movement.

Miley Cyrus totally turned on boyfriend Liam Hemsworth with her new short hairdo. According to a new report from Hollywood Life and their sources, it turns out that Miley’s new goth,short,hairdo has turned on her fiance Liam Hemsworth as he reportedly loves it,and thinks it’s hot. It is kinda cute,but it is a very dramatic change from her previous look.

Their sources said, “Her new haircut is so her. It’s what she’s wanted for a long time now but couldn’t do it because of work. But now, she feels free and this is the first drastic thing she’s done to express her feelings.”

The source went on to explain, that ” Liam totally loves it and think ‘it’s hot.’ She’s just expressing her look, being a bit edgy and looking hot in the process. I love it.” In related news, Miley basically told all those Twitter haters that didn’t like her new style, to F off.

“Love and Honor”—a film shot in 2011 in Ann Arbor, written by U-M screenwriting professor Jim Burnstein (with writing partner Garrett K. Schiff), and directed by U-M grad Danny Mooney—has a new international trailer available online.

The hitch? Well, unless you’re fluent in Russian, you won’t understand a thing the characters are saying to each other (though it’s fun to guess).

The film was acquired by Lightning Entertainment. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film—previously titled “AWOL”—has been sold to a German distributor (Universum) and a Middle East distributor (Eagle Films).

“Love and Honor,” which is also set in Ann Arbor, stars Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer and Aimee Teegarden and tells the story of a Vietnam soldier who gets dumped by his hometown girl and decides to sneak back to the States with his best friend to win her back.

Miley Cyrus’ cousin Marilyn reveals details on Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s wedding saying it’s going to be a ‘close knit, small family’ kind of an affair.

Engaged Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth has been the talk of tinsel town for quite some time now and fans are eagerly waiting to hear about the wedding. Anything and everything about the couple’s personal life has now become trending news. Well! Though the dates for the big day hasn’t been fixed yet, Cyrus’ cousin Marilyn reveals details about the to be wedding saying Cyrus wants to keep it small with just friend and close knit family attending the ceremony.

According to Celebs Gather, Marilyn said, “Like all young girls, she had her wedding planned for a while. It’s like a fairytale. [But then again] it could be a wedding where her dress ends up in the mud. It’s just a Miley thing. She has these little quirks. Though she’s grown up, there’s still a lot of kid in her. [It probably won't be] very extravagant. She’s a hometown girl. I think it’ll be close-knit family and friends.”

One thing is for sure and that’s we won’t be hearing wedding bells anytime soon. Cyrus who features of the cover of Marie Claire’s September issue told the magazine that she’s not looking to get married anytime soon as the couple want to enjoy a “long engagement”.

“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with,” Cyrus said.

“I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.”

Another reason for not rushing for a wedding is that Cyrus is “confident of their relationship”. “Liam and I have a really good relationship,” the engaged star told the magazine. “Neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other.”

The couple’s early engagement has undergone much criticism but Cyrus has stuck to her guns and doesn’t regret her decision to get engaged at such a young age.

Despite having an R rating – something that every studio in the free world is absolutely terrified by – The Expendables was one of the biggest hits of summer 2010, pulling in $274 million at the international box office on an $80 million budget. Everything we’ve heard about the sequel since then has suggested that every element will be bigger and better, starting with the cast, which added Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van-Damme, Scott Adkins, Liam Hemsworth and Nan Yu to its already stacked line-up (not to mention promises of more Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger). Sadly, though, there will be some elements that won’t be bigger and better: the language and the violence.

Sylvester Stallone has confirmed to AICN that The Expendables 2 has been targeting a PG-13 rating. Responding to a query from the site’s owner, Stallone said

“The PG13 rumor is true, but before your readers pass judgement, trust me when I say this film is LARGE in every way and delivers on every level. This movie touches on many emotions which we want to share with the broadest audience possible, BUT, fear not, this Barbeque of Grand scale Ass Bashing will not leave anyone hungry…Sly”

The script for the film was written by Dave Callaham and Richard Wenk with Simon West, best known for helming Con Air, taking over directing duties. The story follows the gang of mercenaries as they hunt down the person responsible for the death of Tool (Mickey Rourke). In addition to Stallone, the film brings back Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren Terry Crewes and Randy Couture.

Miley Cyrus might just be one of the best girlfriends out there. Her very handsome boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, celebrated his 22nd birthday on January 13 and Miley got him one awesome present – a new dog!

Miley tweeted, “Meet Ziggy =]” along with the adorable pics below. What makes the story even better, Ziggy is a rescue pup! Miley later wrote, “If you live in LA & looking to rescue an adorable pup like Ziggy let me know! I have an amazing rescue! So many pups in need of a mommy!”
